Considerations for birth and death certificates must be original certified copies issued by the Department of health services and or the state registrar of vital statistics. If you need anew copy of a vital record certificate please contact: http://dhhs.ne.gov/publichealth/Pages/ced_bicert.aspx
Considerations for marriage licenses must be issued by the Nebraska dept. of human services or vitals statistics alternatively a copy issued at the County Clerk level would also be acceptable. Please also consider that a keep-sake certificate will not be acceptable for apostille.
Considerations for Divorce decrees must be an original certified copy issued by by HHS services or Vital Statistics Bureau, you may request a new copy of a divorce decree with a proper pursues statement (only principal or parents are acceptable http://dhhs.ne.gov/Pages/default.aspx
Considerations for school records issued by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Creighton University, University of Nebraska at Omaha, University of Nebraska Medical Center, University of Nebraska at Kearney, Bellevue University among other academic institutions must be notarized copies issued by the school registrar and original signature of school official.
Considerations for notarized documents such as power of attorney and public documents must contain a notarization and a properly executed acknowledgement.
